A Saturday without rain!

Today is beautiful.
First day in a while with no rain.
It is a little sticky out but I'll take it!
A few photos to update you..

I was admiring my Hosta...ready to bloom and I noticed we have aphids!
Gotta take care of that!
.
The Goldfish in my Pond are very happy...My Pond Lily will bloom soon...

My husband made another box for our garden.
The strawberries that survived last years deer attack need a place to live!

A little wild columbine blooming in my yard...I just love them!

Mama-Eastern Phoebe Flycatcher was not happy with me today-
she has a nest above my mothers gutter and I wanted to photograph her
baby. She dove after me and tried to nail me in the head.
What a good Mommy she is.
I managed to get a poor shot of her baby! Better than nothing!

Your yard and garden are lovely, bright spots. Thanks for sharing them with us. Have a wonderful day.

Hi Susan, me again. About the mint this time. If you have a problem in the garden, start it and keep it in a pot - increasing the size of the pot as required. Chances are your mint got too much sun and too much water. I love pots because I can move them to a spot where the conditions for them to grow are optimal. Once mint is started it is a weed and will not give up easily, believe me.

Hi Susan! What pretty pictures.

I have a robin whose domain seems to be the cottonwood tree to the side of my garden.

He's not very happy with me either... I've been spending quite a bit of time in my garden and see him flying lowly over head... often..

I do love it when he gets way up top of the cottonwood tree and sings his heart out, though!
