Like Mary said, swans bring to 'mind other times and places.'
For me it is Ludwig II of Bavaria and his Neuschwanstein castle. Lit. translation, New Swan Stone palace.
I have had to privilege to visit on more than one occasion.
Thanks for the memories,
Candy

I am always stopped in my tracks when I see swans. They are so beautiful that they don't seem real.

The swans are beautiful! They're so white and regal as they float atop the water.

Thanks for stopping by on Outdoor Wednesday!

I remember the Swans that used to be in the pond at the college I attended the first year...they are so pretty. My dad used to have lots of these in his exotic bird collection too...he had a pond for them to swim on...they are so peaceful to watch!
have a great weekend!
