Bunny's Warm Oven
Now I have had these cookies in the past -
I could never find the recipe to make them.
When I ran across Carols post...I couldn't wait to make them.
Let me tell you they came so good-
I should have made 2 batches.
I will make more tomorrow for sure!

Susan...thank you for your nice comments....I'm SO happy you love the Italian Cookies...I know what you mean about making a double batch. Once I get into those little gems, I don't wanna stop eating them either!!!! :)

These look so pretty!
We make cookies very similar to this in my family. Our recipe calls them 'soft biscotti' and we usually put different colored icings on them. Their one of my favorite cookies. Yours look very delicious and perfectly festive!
Oh wow! I just made Italian Cookies myself for someone who placed an order for 4 dozen assorted cookies! These are just delicious!
I've had these saved to make from Bunny's and it has become buried in the zillions of other recipes i want to make LOL! Thanks for the reminder, they look so good!
Hi Susan! I couldn't believe it when I saw your picture. I said, "Oh, my god, these are mom's cookies that I just made!" Carol's recipe is just like my mom's Lemon Egg Biscuits. In fact, I included them in a piece I wrote for NPR's Kitchen Window, which will be published next week. I even used the same XMAS sprinkles as you! :) Thanks so much!

I made these last night and they are already gone! They are really easy to make.
